My Current Schedule
I teach different styles of yoga from active yang styles to passive yin style, depending on the students' preferences and needs.
All of my classes are multilevel classes, so no previous experience in yoga is needed. I talk about alignment and always give different variations of the poses to make sure the students are safe.
You can wear any comfortable, flexible clothing and bare feet. Take along a yoga mat. However, I have some extra mats if needed. You can also take along a water bottle. However, it is not advisable to drink during the class. Please don't eat a heavy meal just before the class.
Please aim to arrive well before the class starts.
Ashtanga Yoga is a style of yoga handed down and popularized by K. Pattabhi Jois. It is often promoted as a modern-day form of classical Indian yoga. Ashtanga yoga is based on set sequences of poses which are synchronized with breath.
In the Dynamic Hatha Yoga classes the movements are synchronized with breath to flow from one pose to the next. In these classes the sequences change from one class to the other.
Static Hatha Yoga is relatively gentle and slow and the poses are held for long. There is usually a short rest in between the poses.
Yin Yoga is a very slow-paced and passive style of yoga. The poses are held for long in order to apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body, to increase circulation and to improve flexibility. Yin Yoga is also a more meditative style of yoga.
I teach private classes at any agreed time and location. Private classes can be completely customized to the students' needs.

I am qualified to teach children, pre-teens and teenagers. I am DBS checked in the UK.
